Australian funeral held for last vet of combat WWI

FREMANTLE, Australia - the last known World War II combat veteran was buried at a funeral in Australia.

Claude Stanley Choules died at the age of 110, two weeks ago. During a funeral was held Friday in the city of Fremantle, Western Australia, loved him the memory of a remarkable man.

Son of Adrian Choules urged far not to be sad that his father had lived "a life very long and very beautiful."

Choules begins to train with the British Royal Navy at the age of 14 years. In 1917, he joined the battleship HMS vengeance, wherever he looked at the surrender of the German high seas fleet, fleet combat of the German Navy during the war of 1918. Later, he joined the Royal Australian Navy.

Choules publishes his autobiography, at the age of 108 years.
