Manifestations of Delhi on gasoline prices

the demonstrators want the increase in the price of gasoline to be pushed out demonstrators blocked roads in the Indian capital, Delhi, in the recent increase in gasoline prices.

Events, organized by the opposition, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party, caused traffic jams in the city massif.


They want the Government to reverse the rise in the price.


At midnight Saturday, companies oil State raised the price of gasoline by 5 rupees per litre - the more steep ever single increase in gasoline prices.


This is the seventh walk in 11 months and analysts say that it will worsen inflation.


Last June, the Government has to set the price of gasoline, petroleum State enterprises, but it continues to control the price of diesel, kerosene and cooking gas to protect the poor and trying to keep control over inflation.
