As the seals worked their way through the House, they were linked by a network of radio stations. In Afghanistan, they were followed by Vice Admiral William McRaven, the officer in charge of the mission.

As the team moved to floor to floor of the compound, verification of closets and under beds, they would yell "clear" to consider a safe room.

McRaven relayed this information to the Panetta, who was to keep Obama and his team of national security aware of the mission took place in the White House Situation Room.

Wife of Osama bin Laden, charged in the US forces and was wounded in the leg during the raid. Her 13-year-old daughter saw the death of his father. The two are now in the custody of Pakistani intelligence officials.

Pakistani officials put in doubt the legality of the raid today. Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the joint staff, was not asked Pakistani officials to raid up to two hours after its completion, officials said ABC News.

Responsible for Pakistani intelligence are not to be talk of U.S. investigators to bin Laden wife and daughter for the moment.
