SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic - Dominican Republic authorities say a police officer was shot dead by an officer of the colleagues in apparent dispute on the use of cash on a machine troubleshooting.
Preliminary police reports said that lieutenant Bernardo Montero died of a bullet would have drawn by Sergeant Judar Los Santo during a violent argument Tuesday to a Bank ATM. The Sergeant was injured.
Some witnesses reported that the dispute started when Montero not subject to a line of customers at Banreservas. It's a State Bank where the police, military and other officials receive their wages.
Police chief Jose Armando Polanco ordered a special investigation to determine exactly what happened.
